Of things

None of which

Are ugly alone

Heat rain wind

Wind sleet ice

Fog pelting rain

Gale froth whitecaps

Frigid howling snowdrifts

All have wind

Wind isn’t ugly

By itself

It’s just windy

Wind pushes

It drives the others

Penetrates

Wind knows

Where it’s going

It could have

A mind

Today I’m going to

Whatever

All the things

It does

There are many

What a life

Go where you want

And do what you will

I’ll be wind today

Maybe a breeze

Or zephyr

I’ll make things

Pleasant calm beautiful

How I got here

From ugly

I don’t know

But I’ll take it

I’m the wind

After all
